Workswell MEDICAS thermal camera system for fever detection
The Workswell MEDICAS thermal camera system for fever detection was developed primarily to prevent the spread of diseases in an epidemic - specifically for monitoring halls at airports and train stations, supplementing access control systems in communal and office buildings to screen for feverish patients. It is based on a high pixel resolution (640x512 pixels) long-wave detector, with an absolute measurement accuracy of 0.2°C ensured by the high-precision blackbody reference source integrated into the system. The thermal camera measurement data is immediately evaluated for the presence of feverish patients through the Workswell MEDICAS software running on the thermal camera, providing Full HD resolution video image and alarm function to aid in identifying the individuals in question.
The installation and operation of the Workswell MEDICAS thermal camera system is exceptionally simple, as the thermal camera can be directly connected to an HDMI display and a USB or Bluetooth keyboard. Therefore, no PC is required! If needed, the thermal camera system can also be integrated into an Ethernet network.
