Rugged mobility
The handheld, highly ergonomic VarioCAM HD research 880/980 thermal camera was developed primarily for industrial mobile applications: it is easy to handle with one hand, and with full equipment, it weighs only 1.7 kg. Thanks to its rugged lightweight metal housing (IP54 protection), it can withstand even the harshest conditions. With the latest Li-Ion batteries used, it can operate continuously for up to 3 hours on a single charge.
Operation, built-in functions
The operation of the VarioCAM HD research 880/980 thermal camera is done with user-friendly control buttons and a built-in joystick, making every function quickly accessible through the easily understandable and logical - Hungarian language - menu system. Numerous automatic functions assist in quickly and comfortably capturing thermal images, making work even simpler and more efficient. Additional assistance is provided by the EverSharp depth of field enhancement function, the button-activated 32x (continuous) digital zoom, composite image display (simultaneous display of thermal and visual images), automatic functions (e.g., autofocus, alarms, autosave), built-in sound recorder, and integrated GPS interface.
Thermal image storage, remote control
The 16-bit thermal image data is stored on interchangeable SDHC memory cards or can be transmitted in real-time to a PC via the built-in data interface (WiFi) with high speed. Through Gigabit Ethernet, DVI-D, and C-Video interfaces, the thermal images displayed on the thermal camera can be simultaneously (live) viewed on other display devices, as well as the thermal images and measurement data can be viewed on a PC or notebook via Ethernet Gigabit or WiFi interfaces. Furthermore, the thermal camera can be remotely controlled live (online) via wired connection (Gigabit Ethernet or USB2) or wirelessly (WiFi).
PC software
The high-performance and versatile, 32-bit, Windows XP/Vista/Win7...Win10 compatible thermography software family IRBIS® developed by InfraTec is specially designed for industrial applications. The basic software package (included with the thermal cameras) includes the IRBIS® view basic program for evaluating stored thermal images and image documentation, as well as an easy-to-use graphical thermal image browser. For detailed evaluation of thermal image sequences (e.g., creating videos, displaying thermal image galleries), as well as for professional post-processing of recordings, the optional IRBIS®3 plus and IRBIS®3 professional software packages provide the necessary tools.
We offer the above thermal cameras as complete systems, including all accessories, along with the IRBIS® view evaluation and IRBIS®3 online control/data transfer software.
