PCB 682A02 Sensor Coupler - Description
The PCB 682A02 device is primarily used for connecting ICP-type (piezoelectric with built-in charge amplifier) dynamic vibration acceleration, pressure, force, and torque sensors to voltage input measuring instruments, data collectors, oscilloscopes, and PC cards. The device is compact, mountable on a DIN rail, and is available in a single-channel version.
The PCB 682A02 unit can be connected to sensors of various sensitivities, with selectable signal amplification of 1x, 10x, or 100x using jumpers. The device provides sensor power supply (selectable with jumpers) of 4 or 10 mA constant current. The sensor signal is provided as a amplified AC voltage signal by the PCB 682A02 device to the measuring instruments.
