Description

The devices of the PCB 682C_3 series primarily serve to connect common ICP-type (with built-in charge amplifier) piezoelectric industrial acceleration sensors to process control, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems. By using these units, existing systems can provide continuous vibration-based machine monitoring.

The devices are available in single-channel versions for receiving piezoelectric vibration acceleration sensors of arbitrary sensitivity in ICP format (with built-in charge amplifier). The devices provide power supply for the sensors.

The devices of the PCB 682C_3 series generate a 4...20 mA current signal and a 0...5/10 V DC voltage signal - selectable by type - with fixed lower and upper frequency limits, in peak or effective value. It is also possible to choose whether the output signal should be proportional to vibration acceleration, vibration velocity (with single integration), or displacement (with double integration).
