VMI Viber-X3 Vibration Meter - The VMI Viber-X3™ is a handy compact vibration meter that with its simple operation can be a reliable tool for maintenance personnel and operators to quickly and easily detect machine and bearing faults based on vibration measurements. In addition to its ergonomic and aesthetic design, the VMI Viber-X3™ offers numerous measurement possibilities that provide effective assistance in identifying machine faults despite the simplicity of the instrument. Its large display ensures comfortable reading, allowing multiple vibration parameters to be read simultaneously. The vibration sensor supplied as an accessory with the device can be replaced according to individual measurement tasks, making the VMI Viber-X3™ suitable for use even with installed sensors. Furthermore, the VMI Viber-X3™ is also suitable for temperature measurement with an infrared detector, and when supplemented with a headset, it also aids in the acoustic determination of machine faults. Thanks to its data storage memory, the instrument is also suitable for data collection. The stored measurements can be documented with the included TrendView PC software and displayed in the form of trends.

The VMI Viber-X3™ vibration meter device is designed to meet the needs of industrial maintenance personnel and operators with its handy design and functions. Its small size and light weight provide comfortable use even for all-day applications. Its long battery life and sufficient memory for storing the results of 100 measurements make it suitable for conducting regular, comprehensive monitoring measurements. Moreover, to support regular measurements for trend analysis, the instrument is supplied with the TrendView PC software.

Simple operation, easy readability

Through the device's push buttons, the frequency range of the measured vibrations and the display mode can be quickly set via a simple menu according to the analysis requirements. The large display ensures good readability, showing not only the condition of the element but also two main vibration parameters.

Versatile settings for analyses

The VMI Viber X3™ handheld instrument can evaluate vibrations based on various characteristics. The peak, peak-to-peak, and effective value display can be set not only in metric (SI) units but also in imperial units. Various ICP-powered sensors can be connected to the instrument via a BNC connector, with their sensitivity adjustable in the instrument.

Vibration analysis with bearing inspection capability

The VMI Viber-X3™ handheld instrument is also suitable for inspecting bearings with different displays of vibration characteristics. For example, based on the damage process of bearings, the condition of the bearings can be analyzed by observing parameters such as peak vibration acceleration or the relationship between effective and peak values, as well as based on the gBC value.

Temperature measurement - instant, contactless

The VMI Viber-X3™ is also capable of measuring temperature with the built-in non-contact infrared thermometer, making it possible to make bearing condition checks more reliable with temperature measurements, or it can be used for checking other process characteristics as well.

Audio analysis (e.g. bearing noise)

The VMI Viber X3™ instrument comes with a headphone as an accessory. With the headphone, we can listen to the vibrations of the machines, and with a little practice, we can distinguish individual faults. The VMI Viber-X3™ is also suitable for measuring sound levels.

Small instrument in a complete package

The Viber-X3™ instrument is delivered with a complete accessory kit. The TrendView PC software and the Hungarian-language manual provided with the instrument assist in carrying out analyses and measurements.
