Leakshooter LKS1000-V2+ Leak Detector - Leak Detector Instrument Based on Ultrasonic Measurement with Video and Thermal Camera

Any gas escaping from a pressurized system through small gaps or cracks generates ultrasonic waves (inaudible to the human ear). The Leakshooter LKS1000-V2+ leak detector manufactured by Synergys detects the ultrasonic waves, processes them, and displays their intensity.

The location of the leak can be identified with the built-in video camera. With the press of a button, the measurement results and the image of the inspected area can be stored, making it almost "child's play" to document and record the identified deficiencies (leaks). Meanwhile, the instrument also transforms the ultrasonic waves into the audible frequency range. The intensity of the noise heard is stronger the closer we are to the leak. Therefore, the noise intensity helps in finding the ultrasonic source, which is also the location of the leak. The built-in thermal camera makes the exact location of hot steam and gas leaks visible through the temperature rise they cause. Features
