HUK Leakdetect Leak Detector Handheld Device - With ultrasonic measurement, the condition, operation, and tightness of numerous tools and equipment (e.g. gas and steam systems) can be examined. The Leakdetect ultrasonic instrument makes the ultrasonic strength audible with a stethoscope and visually displays it with an LED array.

The method is based on any gas leaking from a pressurized system through small leaks or cracks generating ultrasonic noise (inaudible to the human ear). The Leak-Detect instrument detects the ultrasonic noise and transforms it into the audible frequency range. The intensity of the noise heard is stronger the closer we are to the leak.
