The TPI 505L is a combined optical and contact tachometer that measures not only the speed but also the surface speed of belts and discs. Main features:

Non-contact (contactless) and contact (laser) speed measurement
Linear speed measurement (e.g. conveyor belt, circumference speed of large drums...)
Wide measurement range 6 ... 30,000 RPM or 0.9 ... 3.05 m/min
Automatic storage and display of last value, maximum and minimum values
TTL output for connection to other instruments (as an external tachometer)
