Vibration Research VR9500 Shaker Controller - Top-of-the-line multifunctional multi-channel shaker control system
Vibration Research VR9500 Shaker Controller - The 5th generation VR9500 shaker controller from Vibration Research offers unparalleled speed, flexibility, and outstanding technical features. The PC-controlled device with its own specialized DSP (digital signal processor) enables faster and more accurate data processing. Together with excellent analog circuits, this results in outstanding signal dynamic properties such as a 130/100 dB (sine/random) dynamic range, low 70 nV/√Hz noise floor, and 26,000-line random resolution.
The VR9500 can be controlled via Ethernet connection and expanded in parallel with each other - up to 128 input channels. It supports the handling of vibration sensors with the TEDS function and visibly indicates the conformity of the individual connector signals with LEDs.
The VR9500 vibration exciter controller supports various excitation modes accessible through a user-friendly interface. The quick reporting function supports the documentation of measurement results.

26,000-line Resolution Random Excitation Higher spectrum resolution has two important advantages:
- Higher resolution means narrower frequency "units," allowing sharper control even at low frequencies. This advantage enables the application of up to 20% smaller displacements in excitations.
- Higher resolution enables more accurate and realistic resonance excitation. As a rule of thumb, for the best and most accurate resonance excitation/control, the resolution of a minimum of three "units" should fall within the 3 dB frequency range of the resonance frequency.
Low Noise Floor The VR9500 is truly an unparalleled shaker controller with an exceptionally low noise floor. The exceptional multipole analog filter and digital filter together ensure the controller's excellent noise level. Mixed Mode Test The VR9500 is capable of handling complex test types: "Sine-on-Random," "Random-on-Random," "Sine-on-Sine," and "Sine & Random-on-Random." In "Sine-on-Random" mode, up to 32 real floating-point precise sine signals can be handled, which can be superimposed on the background random spectrum. In "Random-on-Random" mode, a maximum of 32 narrowband random spectrum excitations can be mixed with the background random excitation. Quick Reporting The VR9500 Quick Report function streamlines the reporting process. With predefined and custom-designed templates in the program, desired views and reports can be set up, and the final results can be quickly saved. Depending on the test type, individual templates can be selected with a single click, making reporting a one-step process, and with the addition of further scheduling, the test and reporting can be fully automated. 3-Year Warranty The VR9500 devices come with a 3-year warranty, reflecting the product's outstanding quality.
